Keeping your Bohyme hair extensions or weaves in prime condition is important. By properly cleaning and maintaining your Bohyme hair it will stay looking great for a longer time and it will also be easier to use it more than one time. This could end up saving you quite a bit of money over time. More importantly, keeping it clean and in good shape while you are wearing it will be better for the health of your own natural hair.

For the most part, you can treat your Bohyme hair in a similar manner to the way that you treat your own natural hair. You should be sure that you are washing and conditioning it on a regular basis. When you brush or comb the Bohyme that you are wearing, you should be sure that you use a wide toothed comb or a special brush that is meant for hair extensions and weaves. Always start combing out tangles in your Bohyme hair at the ends and work your way up to the crown. Try to keep the tugging to a minimum so that you do not stress the hair strands and cause them to be damaged or broken off. Another thing to do to prevent damage to your Bohyme hair while you are wearing it is to wait until it is completely dry and then wrap it up at night before you go to sleep.

In order to keep your Bohyme hair clean and beautiful, you should wash it on a regular basis. Be sure that you use a shampoo and conditioner that is meant for this type of hair. If you are not sure what to use, you can search online and probably find a kit that includes a rejuvenating shampoo and conditioner for your Bohyme hair. You must keep in mind that your Bohyme hair does not have the capability of getting nutrients and other essential things from your body like your own hair does. These products are made with the nutrients that your Bohyme hair needs in order to stay looking shiny and feeling silky, as well as keeping the tangles to a minimum. Sometimes these kits also include a product that is meant to be left on the Bohyme hair in order to help protect it from sun damage. After you have washed and conditioned your Bohyme hair, you should let it air dry or wrap it in a towel to remove the moisture. Any excessive rubbing with a towel could cause the Bohyme hair to tangle or break off. Although it is tempting to run a comb through your wet hair, it is not recommended. Even your own natural hair is more pliable when it is wet and even the slightest tugging could stretch it to the point of damaging or breaking it. If your Bohyme hair was attached with any type of glue, there could be residue that just does not wash out well. Some people have been successful in removing the glue residue from the Bohyme hair by soaking it in a product called Goo-Gone and then rewashing with an appropriate shampoo. The Goo-Gone is a product that uses a citric formula to dissolve the stickiness of the glue so that it is much easier to remove from just about anything, including your Bohyme hair.

This is even more likely with your Bohyme because it is not alive and cannot repair itself.

If you have removed your Bohyme hair, you need to be sure that you thoroughly clean it and dry it before you reinstall it or store it away for a future use. If your Bohyme hair was attached with any type of glue, there could be residue that just does not wash out well. I have always been a huge fan of Bohyme hair and I will rarely wear any other brand for my extensions or weaves. I have used them over the years and I have gotten quite good at doing much of the installing and removing in my home. Admittedly, I did have some trouble handling everything by myself in my home when I first started, but now it is a rather quick and easy routine for me. I can take out all of my Bohyme hair, wash and condition my natural hair and clean the glue residue from the extensions in less than two hours. Sometimes, I do need to ask for a little help from a friend when I have to install or remove my Bohyme hair from a spot on my head that I have trouble properly reaching or seeing on my own. Installing and removing all of my Bohyme hair extensions and weaves at home saves me so much time and money that I would have to use if I went to a hair salon to have these things done by one of their hair stylists.

Of all of the Bohyme hair that I have used over the years, I think that I definitely like to use wefts of Bohyme hair that are hand tied the most. I love to use them in order to add some volume and texture to my natural hair. The hand tied Bohyme hair wefts look so natural and are not very difficult to use when putting in a weave. My sister always complains that the hand tied wefts tend to unravel too much when she cuts them into smaller sections. I no longer have that problem with my Bohyme hair wefts. I found out that all that I need to do to keep my Bohyme hair wefts from unraveling is to dab a little clear liquid glue on the snipped ends of the base threads to keep the hair strands from coming apart. If I do not have any clear liquid glue available to fix my hand tied Bohyme hair wefts when I need to cut them into smaller sections, I can simply tie the ends of the base threads together on each section and they will no longer be able to unravel.

I experimented with various lengths and textures of Bohyme hair wefts and I liked the look and feel of all of them, but if I had to choose a favorite one it would have to be the Bohyme Remi Human Hair Body Wave that is twenty-two inches in length. I love the soft waves and the frame the sides of my face beautifully. I love the way it cascades down over my shoulders. This Bohyme hair looks gorgeous on me, especially if it is the rich, dark brown color. It gives me a softer, sexier look than the Silky Straight Bohyme hair and it gives a more sophisticated and controlled look than either the Bohyme Deep Wave or French Refined hair.
